Münster University of Applied Sciences - together with the German Working Group for Analytical Spectroscopy (DAAS) and the Chemists' Committee of the VDEh Steel Institute - organizes this meeting of users in X-ray fluorescence and optical emission spectrometry as well as other related analytical methods of solids.

The aim of this user meeting is to bring together research and industry in order to promote the exchange of information and to discuss industry trends. Short presentations will be given on new instrumental developments, solutions to current problems and, in particular, on the use of these methods in laboratories in a wide range of industrial sectors. An exhibition of the most important equipment manufacturers, accessories and service providers also takes place during the user meeting.

Same as previously done, HRT will take part in the exhibition. Mr. Dirk Töwe further will give a presentation on "Efficient Sample Preparation for XRF Analysis".

This year, our Christmas donation will go to Flying Hope e.V.

Flying Hope is a non-profit organization that supports seriously ill and severely disabled children and their families by arranging free flights to medical treatments or hospices that are far from their homes. The children are dependent on the help of others, and their families often do not have the necessary financial resources themselves. The pilots of Flying Hope allocate their time and their aircraft for this purpose. Flying Hope relies on donations and membership fees to cover the administrative costs of these flights and the refueling of the aircraft.
