HRT donates to victims of floods as well as the Children’s Cancer Initiative

In mid-July, long-lasting and heavy rains caused devastating flash floods in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. In Germany, more than 180 people died in the floods. The floods also caused massive damage of property and infrastructure worth billions of euros. Hundreds of thousands of people as well as countless businesses were caught off guard. To support those affected, HRT made donations to the German Life Saving Association - Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft e.V. (DLRG). We wish the inhabitants and companies of the flooded regions much strength for reconstruction.

HRT also supports the Children’s Cancer Initiative - KinderKrebsInitiative Buchholz/Holm-Seppensen e.V. (KKI) with a donation. For 30 years, the KKI has been providing individual and unbureaucratic help to children suffering from cancer and their families. Furthermore, the KKI promotes research into children’s cancer and the first research successes of the KKI can already be applied in practice.
